Jake Donovan Personal Trainer

With over 8 years of experience in the fitness industry, Jake Donovan is a Sports Performance and Personal Trainer committed to helping individuals move better, train smarter, and build sustainable habits. He holds a degree in Exercise Science from Illinois State University, where his passion for performance training first took shape.
While at Illinois State, Jake completed an internship at the renowned EXOS facility in Dallas, where he worked alongside professional athletes and top tier coaches. This experience sparked a deep interest in high-performance training and laid the foundation for his movement focused approach.

Jake holds certifications in both Sports Performance and Biomechanics and has worked with a broad range of clients—from the general population to collegiate and professional athletes. He is passionate about designing programs that enhance performance, prevent injury, and reinforce optimal movement patterns to support clients both in and out of the gym.

Outside of Wattage, Jake stays active through outdoor sports—golf and softball are on his schedule from spring through fall. Known for spending lots of time stretching and warming up, he's just as likely to be spotted with a cheeseburger in hand, proving balance is key to any lifestyle.
