Shanna Tyler Salmon Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach

Hailing from the New York Metropolitan area, Shanna is a Chicago transplant with an unparalleled passion for all things fitness. She started off as a Registered Yoga Teacher working in NYC boutique yoga studios then made the switch to becoming a Personal Trainer and Strength Coach during the pandemic. 

Shanna has contributed her knowledge for mobility, flexibility, and strength training to multiple outlets like SELF and Well & Good. She’s also obtained her Precision Nutrition Nutrition Coach Level 1 certification to be a guide in how to integrate fitness and nutrition – because to her, both go hand in hand! 

The overall mission of Shanna’s training is to make movement accessible, progressive, and joyful! She believes in making your fitness journey a part of your life instead of a barrier. Her clients master all of the primary lifts and movements, maintain muscle while losing weight, and manage to keep the balance they were looking for. 

When she’s not at Wattage, you can find Shanna enjoying an almond milk latté at a cafe with her pinky up, chasing her next PR during a run on Lake Shore Drive, or recording her next fitness reel to satiate the social media girly in her!
